The "Golden Mustache" Plant (Callisia Fragrans)

Callisia Fragrans (also known as Golden Mustache, basket plant, chain plant, family doctor, and in Russian as золотой ус) is an amazing vine, which is found in tropical parts of the world. It is famous in Russia and other parts of the world for its incredible healing abilities and medicine.
The plant reproduces using runners, similar to how strawberries do, and these runners root and grow new plants. Callisia Fragrans also has very fragrant flowers (hence its name), which contain seeds. The plants are incredibly beautiful, if you ask me! (right)
All parts of the Golden Mustache plant contain medicine, from the leaves to the stem and runners. Mature runners contain the strongest and most effective medicine. The plants have been known to be antioxidants, to strengthen the immune system, and to treat skin conditions (One of the ways that I use the juice from the leaves is to remove pimples, and very effectively!).

One of my family's gorgeous Golden Mustache plants, with all of its runners tied together for easy control (the runners grow wild!)
